Overview
Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company is a Water Utility Company on the Copperbelt providing quality water and sanitation services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya and Masaiti. In its continued strides to sustain and improve service delivery to its esteemed customers, the Company seeks to employ highly motivated and goal oriented individuals in the positions of:
Water Production Superintendent
Location: Luanshya
Overall purpose of the job
To facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of the Water Treatment Plants
Main responsibilities include:
• Compiling and submitting daily production and operations reports in order to provide reference for analysis and planning
• Coordinating effective maintenance and other works within the water treatment plants in order to ensure that downtime and water loss during these works are reduced to a minimum
• Ensuring consistent availability of safety procedures, equipment and attire in order to reduce/prevent workplace accidents.
• Supervising effective usage of chemicals and tools used in the water treatment process and upkeep of plant surroundings in order to ensure no wastage or damage is allowed.
• Scheduling periodical maintenance works on plant equipment in order to ensure their availability

Qualification and experience
• Grade 12 School Certificate with Minimum 5 0 Levels
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Water Engineering or related fields
• Three years experience in water and sanitation engineering
• Being in possession of a Clean and valid Driver’s license will be an added advantage
