Job Description
• Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia requires the services of a Water Treatment Operator reporting to the Team Leader. The Water Treatment Operator will be required to ensure that operation of the process area is according to work instructions, the execution of destructive and non-destructive quality checks and carrying out of autonomous maintenance. The Operator has a primary focus on the quality control activities of the team. Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensure process are operates according to the work instructions & adherence to usage standards.
• Carry out the required quality checks as described in the quality control and analysis work practice
• Ensure recording of waste on the appropriate documentation or systems, and reviewing waste trends to identify & resolving problems timeously.
• Manage out of control situations
• Carry out deep cleaning, lubrication & inspection of machines according to work instructions
• Carry out quality checks & analysis as per the quality procedures
• Conducting trends analysis on quality data to identify problems timeously
• Communicate effectively in the work place
• Ensure appropriate problem solving techniques are applied Skills, Experience & Education
• Grade 12, O level
with 5 credits or better with Maths & Science Diploma in mechanical engineering from a recognized institution 2 years’ work experience in Manufacturing Operations (FMCG) Quality control practices & principles Bottling principles & Processes Computer literate & good Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
