• Job Overview: A web developer is responsible for building and maintaining websites and web applications that meet the needs of clients or Ballo Innovations Limited. They will work closely with designers and other team members to translate design concepts into functional and user-friendly websites.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Front-end Development:
· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
· Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
· Implement responsive design to ensure optimal user experiences on various devices.
Back-end Development:
· Develop server-side applications and APIs using languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, or Node.js.
· Set up and maintain databases, such as MySQL or MongoDB.
· Implement server-side logic and data integration.
Collaboration:
· Work closely with web designers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to bring design concepts to life.
· Collaborate with content creators to integrate text, images, videos, and other content into websites.
Testing and Debugging:
· Conduct thorough testing of websites and web applications to identify and fix bugs and issues.
· Perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
Optimization:
· Optimize websites for speed and performance.
· Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
Security:
· Ensure websites are secure by implementing security measures, such as encryption and user authentication.
Documentation:
· Create documentation for code, APIs, and systems for future reference and maintenance.
Stay Updated:
· Keep up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and optionally, back-end languages like Python or PHP.
· Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
· Experience with web development tools, including code editors, debugging tools, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
· Proficiency in Google Workspace including Sheets, Docs, Slide etc.
· At least some understanding in using Notion for project management tools.
· Understanding of web accessibility and best practices.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
