JOB DETAILS:
Hollard Zambia is looking to recruit an energetic project manager to coordinate and provide leadership to the integration of acquired businesses in collaboration with the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Team, producing and implementing integration plans. This role requires a tactful and strategic leader who can coordinate and align operations with the overarching goals of the merged entities, optimizing processes and systems for effective integration.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordination and Integration Leadership: Act as the primary integrator for the country-level initiatives, coordinating and leading the integration team, and ensuring that all local activities are aligned with the Overall integration strategy.
• Strategic Oversight: Coordinate and champion the vision to driving the initiatives necessary to capture the transaction’s value while addressing operational, regulatory, and cultural dynamics specific to the local context.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage and oversee the Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
• Risk Management and Mitigation: Proactively work with Workstream Leads to identify and assess potential risks to the integration process and develop comprehensive strategies to mitigate these risks, for a smooth transition.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and management of the integration budget, ensuring resources are used efficiently and financial targets are achieved.
• Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess the success of the integration efforts, making strategic adjustments as needed to meet overarching goals.
• Communication Plan: Coordinate adherence to the execution of the agreed communication plan in a way that guarantees transparency, and compliance and provides consistent updates to the relevant stakeholders.
• Change Management: Work closely with Workstream leads to ensure compliance with Change Management Plans and that staff are being supported through the transition with clear, effective communication and tailored training programs that address the needs of the employees during this period of change.
• Cultural Integration: Work Closely with Workstream Leads (specifically the People Workstream) and Exco in general to facilitate the culture integration process while fostering an inclusive environment and promoting a unified organizational identity that reflects the best aspects of both companies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate closely with the Regulatory Compliance Lead to ensure that all integration activities align with local laws and regulations and that any compliance-related concerns are promptly and effectively Managed.

• HINT Integration Lead
• HINT Executive Team

Required Qualifications
• Relevant degree; additional certifications in project or change management (e.g., PMP, PROSCI) preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management, with significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions.

Required Experience (relevant or in a similar role)
• Proven capability to lead complex projects with a strategic and operational focus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• High proficiency in project management software and tools.

Additional Competencies:
• Strategic agility and strong decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to ensure effective execution of integration tasks.
