About the Young Professionals Program
One Acre Fund’s Young Professionals Program offers high-performing African graduates meaningful internships and training opportunities at a high-performing, mission-driven organization. Our internships are paid and all interns can expect to receive substantive work assignments working on high-impact projects that support One Acre Fund’s operations.
When joining, interns will participate in an onboarding program and receive training on how to design and execute projects. Over the period of your internship, you will get the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals and receive learning opportunities to build strong foundations for your future career.

About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to ensure we maintain through execution of strategy to meet its ambitious targets. You will interact with several partners from Logistics, BizOps, HR and Country leadership for role execution.

Responsibilities
• Data Operations
o Offer data analysis support to BizOps to better understand farmer behavior around ordering, repayment, input collection among others.
o Support data collection tools and process design and creation to minimize data entry error rates at all stages of the data flow process.
• Logistics Operations
o This role works with the logistics lead to come up with data and input movement processes including input receiving, recording, reconciliation, stock counting and enforcing controls compliance.
o You will implement logistics processes best practices following global standards.
o Coordinate input distribution activities including distribution scheduling, documentation preparation and circulation, transporter management, warehouse reconciliation and disciplinary action support with HR and BizOps.
• Special Projects
o Execute projects assigned by manager on an as-needed basis examples include: Mobile Money roll out and related support

Benefits
Interns will be provided with a reasonable stipend for the duration of their contract. Rural area based fellows will be provided assistance in locating suitable housing.
