JOB DETAILS:
Kagem is seeking remarkable candidate to join the team, in the position of
Dump Truck Operator (X 20)
Reports to: Mine Supervisor

Job Purpose
To operate heavy equipment machinery in a safe and effective manner as required.

Principle Accountabilities
• Must always be efficient in operating the Dump Truck and ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of the machine
• Must maintain good discipline by reporting at schedule shift time and carry out activities effectively as assigned to him.
• Must always use the designated and approved personal protective equipment PPEs whilst operating or at work. These shall include footwear, protective clothing etc.
• Must always be alert as dozing or sleeping on duty may result in an accident
• Must always comply with the safety standard policies at the mine i.e. not smoking inside the machines cabin or near to the machine
• Helping the team by making sure that the assigned task is well accomplished by meeting the intended target
• Report any problem encountered when performing the task given
• Must also be able to contribute or suggest any new ideas that may be useful to the mining operations
• Shall oblige to all set security procedures and regulations
• Ensure that the machine and work area is always kept clean.
• Must maintain high levels of concetration by avoiding unnecessary conversation with colleagues while at work

Qualifications & Experience
• Grade 12 certificate
• Certificate of competence in operating Dump Truck.
• 1-year minimum Experience in mining Operations
• Reasonable knowledge of mining regulations/procedures.
• Able to communicate in official language (English).
• Flexibility and adaptability,
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
