Introduction
Kawambwa Tea Industries Limited ("KTIL"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Industrial Development Corporation ("IDC") located in Kawambwa District of Luapula Province is Zambia's major commercial tea producer. The company's core business includes growing, producing and processing various teas for retail and wholesale markets both locally and internationally. KTIL has expanded its tea processing operations through the installation of a modern tea processing plant and acquisition of efficient tea packaging equipment to support value addition. The company wishes to establish partnerships with businesses and individuals who are interested in cooperating as distributors to jointly promote and trade KTIL's tea products.
KTIL is particularly interested in growing a country wide distribution network and therefore looking forward to engage distributors that reach all parts of Zambia.
Therefore, KTIL is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest from interested distributors for the sale and distribution of KTIL's tea products. 2.0. Requirements
Requirements
  1. Interested parties must submit the following documents:
  2. Certificate of Incorporation or Business registration
  3. Company profile indicating present nature of products traded including annual product volumes traded
  4. Distribution reach indicating which parts of Zambia are currently serviced including new parts of the country that could be services
  5. Valid Tax Clearance
  6. Letter of expression of interest.
