JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to join our dynamic team. This role will be crucial in managing our company’s various HR functions including recruitment, staff development, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will support our workforce needs ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the best talents while complying with labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Manage the recruitment process from job posting, interviewing, hiring to onboarding.
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
• Assess training needs and monitor training programs.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
• Manage employee relations and address employees’ grievances.
• Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides.
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Proven experience as an HR Officer, Administrator, or other HR position.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with HRMS is a plus.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
• Strong ethics and reliability.

Preferred Skills:
• HR credentials, such as a CIPHR certification.
• Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
• A keen understanding of Zambian employment legislation and practices.
