Job Description
Lumwana Mining Company seeks to recruit two highly motivated and committed individuals for the positions of Human Resources Interns to join the versatile Human Resources team. We are in search of individuals who can champion Barrick’s DNA by:

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Officer, you will be assigned daily tasks associated to specifics outlined in the duties and ensuring their timely completion.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Recruitment and Selection – end-to-end in-house recruitment and selection utilizing the Taleo e-Recruitment system.
- Employee relations and grievance handling – Providing support and assistance to supervisors/managers with grievance handling, dispute resolution, performance management and disciplinary issues.
- Worker’s compensation management– manage workers compensation claims and monitoring of legal compliance
- HR systems and Data Management – Updating and maintaining all HR records in Oracle, employee records and files which.
- HR administrative related duties, manage all administrative duties which includes ordering of PPE raising of picking Slips, function bookings etc.
- Follow the human resource systems and business processes and complete the tasks as per policy requirements.
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Must be admitted to the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.
