Job Description
Ict Hardware Maintainer, Salary Grade Zra08 (1 Position), Business Facilitation, Ict Function
A. Purpose
Reporting to the Senior ICT Officer Operations – Headquarters, the job holder will be responsible for providing cost effective, efficient and Professional ICT End User Support, ICT Training and Awareness through consultation, agreements and research with customers and service providers for the purpose of achieving corporate goals.

B. MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Ensuring that the ICT End User Equipment is kept clean at all times;
2. Ensuring that all damaged equipment (non-serviceable) is transferred to ICT storeroom and recorded;
3. Ensuring that all End User equipment that needs relocation is moved;
4. Performing the routine maintenance of ICT End User equipment in the authority as well as working in conjunction with the Contractors during their scheduled maintenance; and
5. Ensuring the availability of much needed ICT End User systems accessories, service manuals, spares and essential tools.

C. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Grade Twelve School Certificate/General Certificate of Education Equivalent with five (5) Credits or better;
2. Minimum Certificate/Diploma in any Computing Course; and
3. Minimum one (1) year relevant post qualifying work experience.
4. Must be a valid member of ICTAZ or any other relevant professional body
