JOB DETAILS:
The University of Lusaka is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up the positions of Lecturers in the School of Business, Economics and Management on full time and part time basis in the following fields:
Job title: Insurance and Pensions Management
To be considered for this position, one must have the following qualifications:
• Master of Business Administration and or Master of Science in Pensions and Insurance or its equivalent
• Bachelor of Arts in Pension and Insurance or its equivalent.
• Advanced Diploma in Insurance and Pensions.
• PhD in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Lecturing Methodology
• At least five (5) years’ experience of lecturing at tertiary level.
• Five (5) years industrial experience.
Summary of Job Responsibilities
• Lecture on the courses that will be allocated to you.
• Develop and improve course outlines and teaching materials for the assigned courses
• Carry out research and publish materials.
• Supervising both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students research work
• Prepare lesson plans at the start of each semester for the assigned

Key Qualities and skills:
• Self-motivated and resourceful with strong intellectual ability
• Ability to research and create new knowledge
• Should be a goal getter and a team player,
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision
• Must be articulate and have strong interpersonal skills.
• High level of planning and organizing skills.
• Must be familiar with Moodle e-learning platform or other e-learning platforms
• Passionate about teaching and research
Salary Package:
An attractive and competitive package will be offered commensurate with one’s qualifications and experience.
