Nelt Zambia Limited, a leader in the distribution industry, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is crucial in maintaining and expanding relationships with our most important clients and ensuring that they receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts to achieve long-term success and satisfaction.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact.
- Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions that align with company offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Logistics to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and generate reports for internal and client use.
- Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain trust and satisfaction.
- Strategically grow revenue within existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
- High level of commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in Key Account Management or Sales, preferably within distribution or FMCG sectors.
- Experience handling large retail or wholesale accounts is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
