JOB DETAILS:
Manager MoMo API, QA,and Mobile App
Overview
The Manager will be responsible for the development and management of the MoMoAPI and Mobile Application enhancements and role out.

The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:
• Supports in the development and implementation of Fintech’s API and Mobile App strategies, in line with the Overall Group Strategy;
• Develops, implements and manages developer social media communities;
• In collaboration with other Fintech Product Managers, defines MoMoApp implementation and upgrade roadmap, Develops, manages and evolves API documentation;
• Conducts detailed analysis and manages external engagements with developer communities;
• Provides input in the evolution and implementation of the Fintech’s API roadmap;
• Leads implementation of Fintech API roadmap
• Supports partner onboarding via the MoMoAPI
• Ensures API documentation and product specifications are up to industry standards;
• Identifies and documents key risks, issues and dependencies and sets mitigation actions;
• Reviews and provides feedback metrics relating to performance of the API product such as usage and revenue;
• Develops performance metrics to measure API usage and engagement within OpCo;
• Produces Product Specification documents, Scope of Work documents, user requirement specifications;
• Enables localization of products and solutions to capture opportunities within strategic verticals;
• Drives revenue, profitability and user uptake through Special verticals;
• Assess OpCo’s change readiness and change impact capability through assessments, to identify key risks/gaps needed to be fulfilled before new product/special project rollout.

Candidate Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce or a related field;
• Coding and project management experience an added advantage;
• Proven commercial and technical acumen;
• Experience in Fintech, Financial Services, Fintech Adjacent services;
• Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding emerging market is preferred;
• Understanding of FinTech and adjacent services & products (AgriTech, TransportTech, EnergyTech), API development and integration, API Portfolio Management, Business case preparation and evaluation, Product design and customization, Product pricing, Loyalty rewards and offerings design and disbursement, Product operations, Product strategy and roadmap implementation among others.
