Overview
The Human Rights Commission is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following position.
Job Title: Purchasing and Supplies Officer (1) Salary Grade: HRC/F

Qualifications
(a) Candidate must be a Zambian with a minimum age of 23 years
(b) Must have a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies
(c) Must be a Member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply

Duties
The successful candidate will report to the Director and will be responsible for:
(a) Undertaking timely procurement of goods and services to ensure their availability to the end
users
(b) Ensuring timely recording of receipts and issues for accountability
(c)Ensuring proper storage of goods in order to safe guard them
(d) Supervising effectively the maintenance of an up-to-date office inventory for record keeping and
accountability
(e) Ensuring timely issuance of goods to end users to facilitate smooth operations of then Commission
(1) Monitoring and evaluating works and services procured by the Commission to ensure compliance
with agreed terms and conditions
