Purpose
To support the design and implementation of customised reward initiatives and support the team in their partnerships with the Human Capital leads in the respective business units
Experience and qualifications
• Minimum Qualification – Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Finance
• Preferred Qualification – Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification (either complete or in progress)
• Experience – 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level

In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check. Ensure all payroll inputs (promotions, terminations, New hires, salary reviews, etc) are processed monthly Review monthly payroll Journals and advise changes before they are posted. Attend to staff queries pertaining to payroll and other benefits. (include a line for statutory payments and returns in line with relevant internal deadlines) Validation and verification of Pay run and Gross to Net summary report. Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations for Finance’s review. Attend to staff queries pertaining Myself service and other benefits.

• Support the reward and remuneration processes of the section, taking guidance from seniors and performing accurate analysis and calculations
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
• Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
• Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee development
• Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
• Manages risks in own area of responsibility
• Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
• Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
• Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
• Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
