Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Shift Boss to oversee mining operations during assigned shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising workers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate mining activities during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor production targets and ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct safety inspections and enforce corrective actions.
• Train and mentor employees on best practices.
• Report operational issues and incidents to management.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and records.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Grade 12 certificate
• Valid Shift Boss Certificate
• Minimum2 and above years of experience in mining operations.
• Strong ability to supervise and motivate teams.
• Thorough understanding of mining safety standards.
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid first aid certificate
• Valid basting licence
• Valid silicosis
