JOB DETAILS:
ACCOUNTANT
Job Purpose:
Reporting to finance manager of all the financial transactions that happen in the past month. .

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all financial transactions a captured and reflected accurately in the system.
• Produce monthly financial reports
• Ensure that requested reports a submitted on time to the finance manager.
• Expected minimum target of cash collection is met before the end of the month.
• Interact with clients in default in a stern diplomatic way.
• Carry out any other accounting or financial duties as maybe required.

Skills and Experience
• Critical, analytical and problem solving skills to think things through to obtain correct results.
• Excellent time management skills to complete various tasks within the expected time period.
• Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft excel
• Accuracy and great attention to detail
• A probing and analytical approach with the ability to pre-empt and solve inefficiencies.
• Professionalism and good work ethics
• Proactive team player.
• Minimum work experience of three years in a demanding accounting environment.

Qualifications
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and / Finance
• Registered ZICA member with membership for the year 2021 paid
