JOB DETAILS:
Yalelo is seeking a Cold Chain Technician to perform routine inspections and maintenance of commercial cold chain equipment (freezers, cold rooms, HVAC).
The role is based in Lusaka.
The Cold Chain Technician Must be able to:
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of commercial cold chain equipment (freezers, cold rooms, HVAC).
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Replace parts and run tests to ensure the systems are working properly following repairs.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
• Understand the principles of refrigeration.

Minimum Qualification & Competences:
• Craft Certificate – Refrigeration/Cold Chain Maintenace.
• Minimum 3-years’ experience of refrigeration maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Experience in refer maintenance will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of work and safety rules & regulations, Local Statutory Safety and Environment regulations and procedures.
• Strong computer knowledge mainly Word and Excel.
