JOB DETAILS:
• Telos Consult Limited, a renowned consulting firm, excels in diverse areas such as socio-economic development analysis and planning, organizational development, social sector performance analysis, and socio-economic surveys. We are currently seeking individuals who are dynamic and driven to join our team as research assistants. This role offers an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to significant research within the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct field surveys and collect accurate data on various agricultural practices and production systems.
• Administer questionnaires and interview farmers to gather information on crop cultivation, livestock management, and other related topics.
• Conduct on-site observations and record relevant data on farm size, irrigation methods, pest management practices, and fertilizer usage.
• Ensure data collection activities adhere to strict quality standards and are conducted in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and accurate data collection techniques.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during fieldwork activities.

Requirements:
• Bachelors in agriculture, agricultural economics, rural development, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in agricultural data collection, research, or related fieldwork activities is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and interview farmers effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and mobile applications for data collection (Survey Solutions).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and targets.
• Willingness to travel to rural areas and work in challenging field conditions.
