JOB DETAILS:
Zambia Airports Corporation Limited is a reputable aviation organisation with a mission to provide world class Airport and Air Navigation Services at the four major airports namely, Kenneth Kaunda in Lusaka, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe in Ndola, Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula in Livingstone, and Mfuwe International Airport and Ten (10) Provincial and Strategic Airports. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals with a vision to excel in the above position:
This role reports to the Mechanical Technologist.
The job holder will be responsible for carrying out service and mechanical repair works on fire tenders, ground handling equipment, utility vehicles, personal to holder vehicles, standby generators to ensure their availability for use.

Key Performance Areas
• Obtain instruction from superior regarding faults/defects of equipment.
• Carry out physical checks and troubleshooting as required.
• Obtain job cards and enter them from Superior (Mechanical Technologist).
• Collect spares, material and other requirements from stores and effects repair works which include dismantling components.
• Replacing damaged or broken parts.
• Carryout planned overall maintenance and lubrication plan at specified times.
• Complete job cards of description of works done, spares used, and duration of time worked.
• Any other related duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade 12 certificate with 5 ‘O’ Level Credits which must include English, Mathematics and Science
• Craft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics

EXPERIENCE
• Five (5) years’ experience in related job

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
