JOB DETAILS:
Superior Milling Company Limited (SMCL) is a State-Owned Enterprise and a subsidiary of the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). The company would like to fill the following positions;
2 General Workers
• Reporting to the Cook and responsible for assisting in managing the canteen, preparing and serving of meals. He/she will ensure the canteen is kept clean, kitchen utensils hygienically maintained and meals served on time.
Main duties
• Receiving and unpacking food stuffs and supplies.
• Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking meals.
• Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
• Washing utensils and dishes making sure they are stored appropriately.
• Serving meals in accordance with specified meal times.
• Disposing rubbish hygienically.
• Handling any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualification
• Formal training in hospitality Industry.
• Proven experience assisting in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• 1-year experience working in a busy kitchen.

Work Hours: 8
