JOB DETAILS:
Golden Camp Solutions limited company operating from Lumwana mine in the north western province of Zambia specialized in catering, hospitality and housekeeping services. Would like to hire vibrant Store Men to be operating in Lumwana.
Position: Store Man X2
Purpose:
You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for making sure that all materials are safe guarded and taken good care of, and you will be involved in providing information on stocking levels.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes
Must have a minimum of a certificate in Purchase and Supply or better with 3 to 4 years’ practical experience working in the store/warehouse. Prior experience in a catering industry will be an added advantage.
• Have knowledge of ordering, receiving, storing and issuing procedures.
• Creative, self-motivated, proactive and confident
• Creative with ideas in stock controls
• Good analytical skill.
• Knowledge of SAGE ERP.
• Good in Excel.
• Able to work with other staff from other Departments, as well as the clients
• Knowledge of food cost control principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations.

Your Responsibilities
The storeman will be responsible and accountable for all Material Stocks and will be as set out below but not limited.
• Report on stock levels on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Receive all supplies from the various suppliers and ensure that they are in the correct quantities and of the required standard. This will involve counting items, checking expiry dates and testing for quality.
• You will issue items to the different department against written requisitions by authorized personnel only.
• You will perform a monthly stock take at the end of every calendar month and you shall submit your stock sheets to the materials controller.
• Ensure to maintain a stock variance of below 2 percent after each stock take.
• You will receive and issue items using the FIFO stock rotation system for all items in the dry store and cold rooms.
• You will adhere to the site stacking rule of 3 x base.
• You must follow all company procedures regarding ordering, receiving, storing and issuing.
• To be pro –active in all aspects of operational safety and encourage teamwork within the department.
• To ensure that the kitchen records minimum spoilage by adhering to the FIFO policy.
• Ensure that bin cards are updated every time stock is issued.
• Send a daily, weekly and monthly stock report to Warehouse Manager on expires so that plans can be made to avoid spoilage.
