JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, with a focus on copper and related materials.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, inventory control, and customs compliance for copper materials in accordance with bonded warehousing regulations.
• Collaborate with customs authorities, brokers, and freight forwarders to facilitate efficient customs clearance and adherence to import/export regulations for copper shipments.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels of copper materials to minimize stockouts and maximize warehouse space utilization.
• Oversee the safe handling and storage of copper products, including adherence to health and safety protocols for hazardous materials.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other tools to maintain accurate inventory records and track copper material movement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity in handling copper materials.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as procurement, production, and transportation, to ensure smooth material flow and effective communication related to copper requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in bonded warehousing and mining, specifically in the copper sector, to drive innovation and best practices within the warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, specifically in bonded warehousing and mining operations, with a focus on handling copper and related materials.
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements for bonded warehousing, specifically for copper products.
• Familiarity with mining industry requirements, equipment, and materials, particularly related to copper extraction and handling.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Warehouse and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are preferred.
