SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Planning Officer to join our Maintenance & Engineering team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating aircraft maintenance plans to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and update short-term and long-term maintenance schedules in coordination with Maintenance Control and Production.
- Monitor aircraft utilization and prepare work packages based on approved maintenance programs (AMP).
- Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower for planned maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of scheduled and completed maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with OEMs, MROS, and other stakeholders regarding planning data and updates.
- Assist in the review and implementation of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and Engineering Orders (EOS).
- Support aircraft induction and redelivery projects with maintenance planning inputs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed and passed a recognized Certificate in Maintenance Planning Principles
- Recognized Certificate in Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Management.
- Minimum [2-5] years’ experience in technical planning or maintenance planning within an airline or MRO.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in maintenance planning systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages.
ADDED ADVANTAGE:
- Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, or related field.
- Knowledge of reliability programs and Maintenance Steering Group (MSG-3) logic.
