JOB DETAILS:
SCO Limited Based in Ndola and specializes in the manufacturing of Electrical Distribution Transformers. In order to continue achieving its mission, the company invites applications from suitably qualified professionals to fill the position below:
Welder x 2
Job Purpose:
To perform the process of metal fabrication and welding of all mechanical parts of a transformer as per given mechanical technical design with minimum defect and rejection .

Job Responsibilities: Not Specified

Required Skills & Knowledge:
• Must be skilled in various welding processes including MIG .
• Must be proficient in layout, tacking, welding, grinding and finishing.
• Must be able to work within a team-based environment to accomplish all aspects of welding and fabrication.
• Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• A firm knowledge with welding safety and osha requirements will be required

Educational qualifications & Experience
• Completed Grade 12
• Advanced Certificate - Metal Fabrication Technician
• Minimum of 2-3 years of production assembly experience
