JOB DETAILS:
• We are seeking for mechanical engineering technologists and technicians provide technical support and services to our manufacturing processes and to be instrumental in the design, development, maintenance and testing of machines, components, tools, welding systems, motor control centre, power generation and power conversion processes for all our machines and other general auto mechanics. Our mechanical engineering technologists and technicians will therefore perform some or all of the following duties:

Job Description
-Prepare operations for machines and components, power transmission systems, set up motor control center for the performance of heavy machinery and equipment
-Conduct tests and analyses of machines, components and materials to determine their performance, strength, response to stress and other characteristics
-Design moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures for use in manufacturing processes
-Inspect mechanical installations and safety of operating machinery
-Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations for heavy duty rotating and cutting machinery
-Prepare standards and schedules for management for mechanical maintenance programs or operations of mechanical motors and machinery.
-Assist in preparing conventional and computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings and specifications
-Carry out a wide range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials before and after production
-Install and perform diagnostic tests on new and old machinery
-.Train co-workers on the safe and efficient use of dangerous mechanical machinery and equipment

Required Qualifications
-Certificate and Diploma in mechanical engineering technology or similar.
-A minimum of two years’ experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.
-Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
-Proficiency in mechanical design and diagnostic testing software.
-Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-Great organizational and time management abilities.
-Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours
