JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
• The Area Sales Executive – LPG will be responsible and accountable for all Company-related business, sales and credit management, conducting market surveys or competitor analyses, providing value additions to the customers and health safety and environmental issues pertaining to product use and storage. Take charge of developing and coordinating the implementation of infrastructure and logistics of ensuring that stocks of LPG is available.

Summary of Responsibilities;
• Develop and maintain profitable sales through the fuel card for the organisation in line with sectional, departmental and company objectives.
• Negotiate and source products from supplier and manage Trade Receivables on LPG.
• Ensure the implementation and continuity of the fuel strategy or business model (Controls overall credit position in accordance with the plan for the Area by customer)
• Makes regular collection calls, coordinates with operations on supplies, prepares delinquent reports, account reconciliations, analysis of statements of accounts and makes recommendations on credit limit revisions.
• Ensure and maintain excellent customer service – Follow up and ensure customer complaints or issues are handled promptly and professionally.
• Ensure that staff in the service station are properly trained on the expected tasks and are aware of their roles in the overall achievement of sectional, marketing and organisational objectives.
• Plan workload to achieve maximum efficiency and maintain all company documentation.
• Prepare territory’s marketing objectives for inclusion in the company’s objectives, analysis of sales records by keeping records of potential accounts and adherence to the company conducting regular card customer meetings.
• Coordinating supplies,
liaising maintenance jobs, attends Commercial meetings, courses,
undertakes other duties as assigned by B2B Manager.
• Conducting meetings/training clinics and Public
and Government Relations

• Ability to work independently
• Skilled in conducting presentations to management and at customer premises
• Good Interpersonal and Entrepreneurial skills.
• Ability to analyse sales data and manage marketing and sales activities in the section
• Self-driven with excellent initiative; able to work with minimum supervision.

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in any Business or Commercial Field
• Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Marketing and Sales experience in Oil/Gas Marketing (Fuel or Petroleum Products)
• Must have a minimum 2 years’ proven experience in the retail business
• High levels of Sales, Analytical, Negotiation and Communication skills
• Must be a member of ZIM

Level of Education:
Bachelor Degree
