4 Legal Aid Counsel
Overview
Legal Aid Board (LAB) is a statutory body established under the Legal Aid Act chapter 34 of the Laws of Zambia. The Board is mandated to provide legal aid services to persons with inadequate means. The Board now seeks to appoint dynamic and pro-active persons to be based in various towns and invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the positions of:
Legal Aid Counsel: Mbala (1), Mwinilunga (1), Petauke (1) and Nakonde (1)
JOB PURPOSE: To provide legal aid services in both criminal and civil matters to persons with inadequate means; which includes legal representation, legal assistance and legal advice.

Qualifications and Experience:
• LLB Degree
• An Advocate of the High Court .
• Must be honest and of good integrity.
• Newly admitted advocates or those with up to 2 years’ experience are encouraged to apply
