JOB DETAILS:
The Eastern Provincial Health Office under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions listed below to be employed on a one-year renewable contract subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
Finance Officer (5) Positions
Station: Provincial Health Office- Chipata, Peatuke, Katete and Lundazi District Health Offices

Job Purpose:
To undertake accounting functions in order to enhance accountability of public funds and adherence to financial regulations.

Job Responsibilities
• Undertakes effectively maintenance of finance records in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information.
• Undertakes timely preparation of financial reports in order to facilitate decision making.
• Undertakes effectively preparation of responses to audit queries in order to facilitate decision making.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements
• Full Form V or Grade 12 School Certificate
• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• A member of ZICA
• Able to write comprehensive reports
• Able to communicate effectively in English

Level of Education: Associate Degree
