JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities:
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport copper and related materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload copper materials from trucks, shipping containers, and storage areas using forklifts.
• Move copper products to designated storage locations, ensuring proper organization and efficient use of warehouse space.
• Assist in conducting physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system records.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure the smooth flow of copper materials and efficient operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while operating forklifts and handling copper materials.
• Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to bonded warehousing and mining operations.

Qualifications:
• High school certificate
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Forklift Operator in bonded warehousing and mining operations, with knowledge in handling copper and related materials.
• Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts.
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures for handling copper and hazardous materials.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and storage organization.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures for bonded warehousing, specifically for copper products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with warehouse personnel and stakeholders.
