JOB DETAILS:
A Senior Management position with the overall responsibility for the optimal and efficient delivery of operational academic support services, management of the human resource and oversight over the use, maintenance and management of College facilities
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the development implementation and review of strategies, policies, systems and procedures regarding staff matters and academic support services
• Establish and implement short and long-range department goals objectives and operating procedures: monitor and evaluate their effectiveness, and effect changes required for improvement
• Develop and manage annual budget for the department and perfom periodic cost and productivity analyses
• Overal responsibility for the optimal and efficient delivery of structured operational academic support services such as admissions, registration, orientation, etc; Coordinate the preparation of advertisements, annual reports, press releases and information, Educational and Communication (EC) materials; and act as link between the College and students, sponsors and other stakeholders
• Superintend over all industrial relations matters to ensure warm industrial relations in the College and compliance with applicable intemal and external policies and regulations
• Design establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and appraisal of staff:
• Superintend over the planning and direct the development, utilisation and maintenance of infrastructure in order to ensure Antharinakin nimmt in hac Services to the College Community
• Superintends over the management of Student Records from
• registration through to graduation
Qualifications, knowledge, Skills and experience required for this role
• Full Grade 12 certificate with at least 5 credits or better
• Bachelor Degree in a Social Science preferably Human Resource Managementor Educational Management:
• Master's Degree in Human Resource Management Educational Management or a similar social Science
• Not less than 5 years working experience in a Management role in a Higher institution of Learning
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have proof of valid membership to a professional organization or association
• Must have good understanding of employment and higher education legislation and best practices
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with departments, statt students, and community members, and to effectively deal with potential public relations problems courteously and tactfully
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing: Key Responsibilities
