JOB DETAILS:
The North Western Provincial Health Office under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is seeking for eligible, self-motivated and qualified applicants for the position listed below at Facility level

JOB TITLE: ART PROVIDER -REGISTERED NURSE

JOB PURPOSE: To undertake the provision of HIV/TB services in order to facilitate the achievement of HIV/TB objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises and undertakes effectively HIV/TB case identification in order to facilitate linkage to treatment.
• Undertakes effectively provision of HIV/TB treatment, care and support services in order to facilitate improved clinical outcomes.
• Supervises and undertakes effectively provision of HIV/TB treatment retention services in order to facilitate improved clinical outcomes.
• Undertakes effectively HIV/TB prevention services in order to reduce incidence rates.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES
Secondary Education: Full Grade 12 School Certificate with Five O level Credits or better
Professional Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing or equivalent

Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
• Three years relevant experience
• Affiliated to Nurses and Midwifery Council of Zambia

Communication Skills/Written Skills: Ability to write comprehensive reports
Oral Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English
Other skills/Attributes: Interpersonal relations, courtesy, confidentiality

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
