JOB DETAILS: 
Book Now Zambia ( www.booknowzambia.com  ) which is owned by Dot Com Zambia, is an award winning Zambian ICT company. Book Now Zambia is a proven technology company with several rapidly growing product offerings in the Zambian Public and Private sector with flagship products such as electronic tolling (eTolls) and electronic levies (eLevy), as well as Private Sector driven by products such as electronic fuel (eFuel). We are looking for a System Administrator with expertise in AWS Cloud Management to monitor carefully and manage our various services running on this platform with high priority

We seek a System Administrator with a proficiency at the following:
a. Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of systems, network servers, and virtualization, with responsibility for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
b. Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes. Demonstrated experience and expertise working with AWS is required
c. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
d. Monitor the health or utilization of AWS resources on a full scale by developing custom scripts on Amazon CloudWatch.
e. Configures and fine-tunes cloud infrastructure systems for performance and cost
f. Automate performance monitoring and availability metrics and corrective actions.
g. Maintains Data Integrity and access control while using AWS application platform and ensure adequate security measures are in place.

Having additional skills as a software and/or mobile app developer would be a plus.
The right candidates will have production experience (of 3 or more years) in the tech areas mentioned above along with AWS certifications
