JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the Role:
This role exists to ensure that all day to day accounting and administrational support functions are performed timeously and accurately in order to support daily smooth operations of the business. Ensuring that customer and client funds are dispersed timeously and accurately is of highest importance. There is an expectation to maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure that all checks and balances in place are upheld to the higher standard.

Reporting Structure:
Reporting to: Accounts Manager
Interacts with: Customer Care, Supervisors and Managers

Principal Accountabilities:
• Uploading of outgoing payments to banking portals and subsequent disbursement of POPS by uploading it to the internal system. Daily bank reconciliations and updates of incoming funds to system.
• Buying of consumables for the company - including price checking, paperwork processing and giving instructions to messengers sent out for collection
Ensuring that the corresponding paperwork is correctly accounted for and submitted and checked timeously with accurate information and all required documentation.
• Keeping daily Pastel postings up to date and accurate which includes balancing all pastel postings with corresponding checks and balances and up monthly ad hock postings to pastel.
• Contribute towards the maintenance and upkeep of HR records.
• Completing and submitting daily, weekly and monthly reports to superiors as required.
• Handling any other department related tasks as instructed by supervisors.

Education:
• Advanced Level Certificate Or, similar level diploma
• Or, Qualification by experience - minimum of 2 years in a similar role

Experience:

• Handling and resolving complaints/issues
• Computer literacy - proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel


Work Hours: 8


Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education:
Associate Degree
