JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
• The Assistant Accountant will provide support to the accounting department in various areas, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, general ledger, and financial reporting. The Assistant Accountant will ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and that all transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
1. Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
3. Reconciling bank statements and other accounts
4. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports
5. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
6. Conducting regular checks of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
7. Responding to inquiries from internal and external customers
8. Providing support for month-end and year-end close processes
9. Perform any other duties assignment by management.

Requirements:
• Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Must be a member of ZICA
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
