Assistant Accountant
Overview
Industrial Training Centre (ITC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill in a vacant position under its establishment as indicated below:-
Assistant Accountant (1)

Qualifications
• Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent
• Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
• Membership to ZICA (Licentiate Level or better professional) a must
• Computer knowledge in accounting packages such as pastel a must

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide efficient and accurate financial and management accounting service in order to ensure timely processing and handling of business transactions assisting the accountant.
• Preparing staff salaries, making recoveries of staff loans and other statutory payments
• Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
• Reconciliation of stores issues, General Ledger and Student, Suppliers Ledgers and Statements
• Passing Journal Entries, submitting to the Accountant for checking and posting of such.
• Debt collection for both students and company debtors

Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
