JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
• To monitor cash flow and control money transmission tools including managing bank accounts, maintaining financial records, performing banking operations, providing financial advice to the company, and handling the cash management system.

Main Duties
• Follow up on omissions and differences.
• Ensure all regions are sufficiently funded at all times.
• Review and analyze bank fees and maintain bank account documents.
• To ensure that all necessary documents relating to a payment are attached before payment.
• Prepare payment vouchers for all forex deals and inter-bank cash transfers.
• Ensure maintenance of proper system of filing documents.
• Provide technical expertise on financial matters.
• Adherence to guiding Financial Acts.
• Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Preparation of audit schedules.
• Ensure effective and efficient utilization of materials and resources.
• Ensure customer satisfaction for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide financial information to internal stakeholders for appropriate decision making.

Key Performance Indicators
• Management of accounts payable using an accounting software.
• Clarify any questionable invoice items, process, and correct approvals.
• Update and Maintenance of accounts payable and production of statement for separate entities and vendors.
• Checking due invoices for payments.
• To ensure that all necessary documents relating to a payment are attached before payment.
• Checking the correctness of the amount on the invoice and ensuring that VAT is properly captured.
• Reconcile supplier’s accounts.
• Ensure effective and efficient utilization of materials and resources.

Academic /Professional Qualifications:
• Full grade 12 certificate (5 ‘0’ levels) with credit or better in Mathematics and English
• A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent ACCA, CIMA, CA added advantage.
• A master’s degree is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a financial position.
• Membership to a relevant professional body is a must.
