JOB DETAILS:
Key Roles and Responsibilities.
a. Spearheading fire pre-suppression measures and activities.
b. Develop, implement, and oversee risk of fire policies, frameworks, and procedures, ensuring alignment with company Strategic Plan.
c. Monitor adherence to approved fire policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring fire suppression.
d. Co-ordinate fire identification, assessment, and to mitigate future fire risks across the estate.
e. Lead the Fire Management team providing direction, support, and fostering a culture of fire awareness and accountability.
f. Collaborate with other section to deliver comprehensive and informative fire reports
g. contributing to effective decision-making processes throughout the Company.
h. Supervising Fire tower look outs and fire management activities.
i. Supervising field captains during estate fire management exercise.
j. Allocates estate duties to the subordinates.
k. Submission of estate weekly reports
l. Keeping daily and performance register for the subordinates.
m. Ensures the estate works is meeting both quality and quantity.
n. Checks the accuracy of recorded message in fire occurrence/incident book.
o. Interpret instructions on all fire control activities to subordinates to ensure common understanding and adherence to these.
p. Prepare all required Estate reports.
q. Assist with schedule preparation.
r. Ensure that estate operational activities are executed within the company allocated budgets.
s. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications.
1. Must be 18 years and above.
2. Grade 12 certificate.
3. Diploma in Forestry, Agroforestry, Agriculture, Crop Science or any other related field.
4. A Bachelor’s Degree in the same field will be an added advantage.
5. Work and leadership experience in a similar position for (2) years.
6. Physically fit.
