Save the Children wishes to invite qualified individuals to apply for the position of Awards and Partnership Temporary Officer – (x 1Position)
Duty Station: Lusaka-based -Zambia
Role Purpose: To support the Awards & partnership Coordinator with administrative duties which include award information and documentation management across all departments and compliance with systems and processes in PRIME & Awards Management System.
The incumbent will be reporting to: Awards and Partnerships Coordinator
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
• Timely upload and updating AMS with all partnership documentation (concept notes, proposals, agreements, amendments, budgets) and ensuring data quality on AMS.
• Update Award Management System records and ensure that it’s a true reflection of the current award status at all times, and have all required documentation uploaded.
• Participate in the award kick off meetings and be responsible for taking the minutes then uploading all relevant documents onto AMS ensuring SCI processes and relevant donor requirements are adhered to.
• Maintain the monthly awards tracker including summary documents for all awards and reporting deadlines, flagging any compliance issues to the supervisor for action.
• Participate in partner monitoring and upload the final narrative and financial monitoring reports including the tools used in AMS.
• Participate and contribute during partner assessments and ensure that all the final documents are uploaded on AMS including the sub- award agreement/addendums and annexes.
• Follow up Programme Managers with monthly, quarterly and annual final partner reports (narrative and financial) for timely upload in AMS as per AMS deadlines.
• Follow up partners with legal vetting information and supporting documents.
• Support the Awards and Partnership management unit in coordinating and documenting Award Kick-Off meetings to ensure that all award information is shared effectively with relevant staff across the country office (including field offices) and partners.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Accounting/ACCA/ZICA or any relevant qualification.
• 3 years relevant experience.
• Good computer skills and high proficiency in spreadsheets.
• Good knowledge of Awards and grants systems in INGOs
Child safeguarding:
Level 3 – the responsibilities of the post may require the post holder to have regular contact with or access to children or young people.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
