JOB DETAILS:
Our client, a Bar and Grill in Lusaka is looking to recruit a professional Barista. The ideal candidates should have at least two years’ similar experience with coffee and possess top notch customer service skills.
Reporting Structure
Reporting to: General Manager
Supervision of: Self
Interacts with: Customers, Staff, Suppliers

Job Description
• Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs
• Educates customers by presenting and explaining the menu
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, expresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino
• Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations

Candidate Specification
• Experience: 2 years plus
• Education Level: Grade 12 Certificate
• Qualifications: Grade 12 Certificate
• Software: MS Office
• Equipment: Coffee machines
• Knowledge of: All forms of coffee and standard beverage recipes e.g Latte art
• Skills to: Interact well with customers
• Ability to: Work well under pressure with high customer traffic
