Brand Communication Specialist
Job Purpose
Ensure that the marketing efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
• Creative Strategy Development: brainstorming and developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns for multi-channels.
• Responsible for managing all social and digital media platforms,
• Assisting in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
Reporting
• Prepare daily and weekly activity reports
• Google analytics acumen.
• Facebook Insights
• Campaign ROI reporting and analysis.
Cost Management/Budget
• Carry out a thorough OPEX analysis and provide recommendations into areas of possible reduction
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
• BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
• Driver’s License with over two years’ experience
Professional Membership
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) or anyother relevant professional body
Minimum Experience
• 2 years’ experience in a sales and marketing related function. Preferably in telecoms industry
Competencies required for this Role
Key Knowledge
• Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
• Experience with Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
• Good command of graphic design of communication materials using technology, including computer software programs. Adobe's Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and others. Showcase motion graphic design skill including 3D visualizations.
• Demonstrated experience with running campaigns and analytics on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and web-based campaign.
• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.) and market research methods
• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g.,Dream weaver) desired
• Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
