JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The Business Analyst will analyze the Banks Operational and Strategic Reporting Requirements. Performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. Work closely with financial reporting and IT teams to develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs and improve internal and external reporting. Take charge of implementing strategic intelligence solutions. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
• Adopt and Implement Business Solutions
• Complete Business Requirement documents
• Led ongoing reviews of business processes and developed optimization strategies.
• Performing user acceptance testing.
• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
• Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business
• Prepare weekly/monthly feedback reports to management
• Provide basic to intermediate ad-hoc information in the form of extracts/reports.

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Finance, Business Analysis, Mathematics/Statistics or IT
• A postgraduate Degree would be advantageous
• Must have a minimum of 6-8 years practical working experience as Business Analyst either for a Commercial Bank or Telecoms
• Proven experience in Analysis methodologies
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Must have proven experience in Business Analysis for the Financial or Telecoms/ISP sector
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be a member of a relevant professional body
