Project Overview and Role:
For an un upcoming multi-year Clean Energy Finance Facility in Southern and Eastern Africa, Palladium is looking for experienced (national and international) business development and business coaching experts for clean energy businesses and projects supported under the facility.

The facility will provide early-stage grant and catalytic financing to innovative clean energy projects and businesses (I.e., solar systems providers, clean cooking enterprises, (on) mini-grid service providers and Energy Efficiency technology providers) in 15 countries across Southern and East Africa. Financing will be supplemented by technical support, investment facilitation and knowledge sharing.

Palladium is interested to receive applications from experts who can provide (part time) on-demand technical and business development support, for specific business and projects supported by the Facility. This could range from financial and capital advisory services, fund raising and investment mobilisation and business model development support, to more general BDS services such as accounting skills, business planning, (last mile) sales and marketing, HR and operations.

We are primarily looking for consultants who either reside in or have proven experience in any of the following countries: Botswana, Burundi, Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
