Background
• NetOne ( www.netone.co.zm  ) is a leading Information & Communications Technology Services Group and is looking to grow its Sales team through the introduction of additional Sales Executives in the Core Infrastructure & Software Solutions divisions who shall take responsibility of business development through direct sales engagements. NetOne represents over 26 OEM vendors in Zambia such as Dell, HP, Cisco, Microsoft, Sage ERP, VMWare, Symantec, Avaya, Veeam, Net App, Oracle EATON & APC to name a few and the Sales team is directly responsible for generating businesses leads and converting these to sales for specified industries with given products & related services.

Responsibilities
The duties of the job will include but are not restricted to:
• Be responsible for new customer acquisitions including ensuring thorough business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
• Be responsible to develop additional customers for existing portfolio of services (I.e. Colocation, Cloud Services & SOC) and achieve revenue growth
• Closely work directly with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure customer solutioning is done appropriately and follow-through to closure of customer acquisition.
• Client account management including opportunity generation, management and customer retention.
• Management of the sales process right from lead generation to quoting to order closure.
• Be responsible for the development and achievement of revenue targets through direct B2B customer engagement.
• Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
• Prepare tenders and responses to Requests for Proposals’ according to customer requirements and provisions of the RFPs.
• Formulate strategies for delivering on the overall Data centre, Soc and Cloud services revenue objectives.
• Position the Data Center & Cloud infrastructure offerings to ensure they align with clients’ business needs.
• Gather operational, financial, market and other relevant information to create compelling products and services for the customer base, in line with company product roadmap.
• As required, share information with commercial leadership team regarding business issues and industry information that would aid development of market-specific action plans and sales strategies.
• Prioritize activities based on revenue targets and corporate strategy to attain increased customer onboarding.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Cloud based solutions/services and customers’ business issues to drive innovation in these areas.
• Work closely with the technical & technology teams in proposing relevant solutions and architecture for customers.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience, or on-the-job training.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent in Sales and Marketing
• MUST have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, pre sales role with system integration and business development of ICT Information Communications Technology products and services;
• MUSThave previous experience in Account Management or Customer Relationship Management;
• Poses a winning attitude that is pleasant and engaging;
• Strong account management and relationship building skills;
• Experience of managing large accounts at head office level;
• Focused, accountable, responsible and committed to success.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Proactive approach with a high level of attention to detail
• Must poses systematic and results oriented personality
• Poses have a valid driving license with 2 years plus driving experience.
