Responsibilities:
Identifying Business Opportunities:
• Researching and analyzing market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
• Recognizing emerging markets and niches that the company can target for growth.
Lead Generation and Sales:
• Generating leads and prospects through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
• Pitching company products or services to potential clients and negotiating deals.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
Client Relationship Management:
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
• Understanding client needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
• Acting as a liaison between the company and clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
Market Research and Analysis:
• Conducting in-depth market research to understand customer preferences and demands.
• Analyzing customer feedback and market data to make informed decisions on product development and marketing strategies.
Business Strategy Development:
• Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement business development strategies and plans.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of current business strategies and making adjustments as needed.
Networking and Partnerships:
• Building and nurturing relationships with potential partners, distributors, and other stakeholders.
• Exploring opportunities for collaborations and alliances to expand the company’s reach and offerings.
Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintaining records of sales and business development activities.
• Preparing reports, proposals, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• Proven track record in sales and business development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in using relevant business development and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Adaptability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and client visits.
