Business Development Manager
Job purpose
Responsible for sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition and build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Sell products/services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities, recommend new revenue and business opportunities and evaluate customer needs in the fintech space.
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Maintain relationship with clients by providing support, information and guidance.
• Prepare reports for management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensure customer complaints are identified and recorded. Also, acting as the escalation point for complaints
• Set weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals and consistently measure your performance
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Qualifications/ Experience and Skills
• Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
• Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to take initiatives
• Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
• Demonstrated achievement in B2B or B2C sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
