Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance regularly and routinely on building infrastructure to reduce the chances of buildings failure and unplanned breakdowns within the township and across the site.
Your duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: –
• Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work
• Installation of ceiling boards such as Ceiling tiles, ceiling boards etc
• Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
• Adding (Installing) fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• General carpentry modifications and repair works on buildings and office furniture

To be considered for the position, the applicant must have the following;
• Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Minimum of Craft Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery
• Good communication skills
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Carpentry and joinery
• Computer literate
• Creativity and design skills
• Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns
• Joinery or cabinet-making skills
• Knowledge of building regulations
• Must have Valid Zambian driving license
