Ultimate Insurance Company Limited is seeking to recruit talented, experienced and innovative Insurance professionals to fill in various Management positions to be based in Lusaka at Head Office
Position 1: Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible to the Board of Directors for overseeing all the strategic operational and financial performance of the company through visionary leadership. effective management of the Management of Executive Team adherence to company policies. regulations and the Insurance Act. Take a lead in optimizing shareholder value and ensuring sustained profitable growth Lead management in the development of innovative products with potential of succeeding on the insurance market in Zambia and developing a good working relationship with all stakeholders and Customers by ensuring prompt settlement of verified claims

Key Responsibilities
• Leading and overseeing formulation, implementation and review of the Strategic business, procurement and annual work plans of the Company and reporting to the Board
• Liaising with the Chair of the Board to enable the Board fulfills governance functions and facilitates the optimum performance by the Board, its committees and individual Board members
• Ensure investment policies are prepared and signed off by the Board for investing in both shareholder and policyholder funds
• Increase the financial resources by coordinating effective marketing opportunities through sponsorships, trade-outs, partnership marketing and merchant involvement.
• Explore new business opportunities which will translate into sustainable profitability and business growth, to mention a few.

Qualifications and Experience
• Grade twelve certificate with credit in English and Mathematics
• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or business-related field.
• Professional qualification in Insurance eg. ACII.
• Masters degree is an added advantage.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in General Insurance at Senior Management Level
• Must be well vested with Zambian laws regulating financial transactions, insurance & tax requirements
• Must have sound relations with Regulators in the Insurance sector
• Ability to plan, organize, direct and supervise overall budgetary and fiscal operations.
