JOB DETAILS:
The Chief HVAC engineer’s responsibilities comprise of designing, testing, and manufacturing the systems related to heating, air conditioning, and ventilation so that they are properly fitted to meet the required specifications for the old buildings as well as the newly constructed buildings. Thus, he/she plays a vital role in leading, managing, and overseeing the functioning of the HVAC engineering department. .

Responsibilities
• To design the HVAC system as per the requirements mentioned in the proposal through various stages like designing, fabricating, and testing
• To apply the technical expertise and knowledge that will support the designing, manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting and help in better delivery of the HVAC system
• To make an active contribution in the research and development efforts by understanding the HVAC advances that will match with the emerging technologies
• To be accountable for the specification of sheet metal layout, components and the fabrication approaches
• To monitor the execution of the developmental efforts and think of innovative ideas to build and design the HVAC system within the given budget and time
• To assist in the preparation of the performance of the equipment specification and data

Educational Requirements
• Completed a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an electrical degree. Previous work experience related to HVAC systems designing, production, or service-related work experience would definitely prove to be an advantage while applying for this job. Any other professional certification or licensure would be beneficial.

• Must-Have over 20 years of working experience in HVAC
• Must have worked in Africa before
• Must have experience in leading teams of over 100 staff
