JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Primarily responsible for partnering for business decisions support to enhance the performance and profitability. This includes leading and coordinating short- and long-term projections of business performance over varying economic and market scenarios.

Core Responsibilities Are:
• • Build Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Financials, based on functional and Operational Inputs.
• • Review of Monthly/Quarterly Analysis of Variance.
• • Design and develop complex business planning models.
• • Evaluation of telecoms market dynamics and impact on business performance.
• • External Benchmarking- mark to market analysis.
• • Enable revenue growth through Business Partnering with Marketing.
• • Strategize with Core team on medium term and short-term revenue plans and programs.
• • Pre and post Evaluation of products and promotions.
• • Drive site utilization.
• • Capex productivity enhancement initiatives.
• • Performance tracking for key Operating Expenditure (Opex).
• • Cost savings initiatives and monitoring.
• • Implementation of Zero-based cost management mechanism.
• • Develop and motivate team members through structured training and on the job coaching.
• • Establish performance expectations and regularly review individual performance.
• • Recommend appropriate rewards and recognition.
• • Prepare plans to action engagement feedback for team.
• • Drive improvement of plans through analysis of financial performance.
• • Implementation of short- and long-term capital requirements and shares insights into capital structure options.
• • Translate business strategies into financial plans for stakeholders.

Requirements
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:
• • A university degree in Finance/Business/ Accounting/Professional qualification in accounting.
Relevant Experience:
• • Atleast 12-15 years in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) & Telecommunications.
• • In-depth knowledge of Telecommunications Industry.
• • Strong Analytical skills & MS Excel proficiency.
• • Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
